Whether you are a hiker, biker, golfer, or just out to cruise the area, you will enjoy the hospitality of the park and the entire area in and around Dream Catcher RV Park.
Shopping is within 5 miles with ample fast food and other restaurants. Deming has a Kmart and a Walmart Super Center. Be sure to pick up an activities calendar from the manager’s office. While in Deming, you could take the Historic Walking Tour of Deming or tour the Deming-Luna Mimbres Museum. Taste some local wine at the tasting room at St Clair Winery. Major events in the Deming area include the duck races in August and the Southwest New Mexico State Fair in September.
About an hour’s drive away is Las Cruces, which offers major shopping, including a mall and ample dining options. You could fill your day checking out the New Mexico Farm & Ranch Museum where you will find 3,000-year history of farming and ranching in New Mexico.
Day trips from the park include Disney World (within 60 miles), Sea World in Orlando, Silver Springs, Homosassa Springs (see the manatees), Universal Studios (60 miles), and the Kennedy Space Center, are just a few major attractions for your enjoyment.
